In a sleepy suburb in 1959, Chuck learns that his life may not be as Rockwellian as it may appear. He discovers that his mother has committed suicide, and that society demands that some tragedies be kept in the dark.
Oakdale, 1959 is an examination of the stigmas surrounding mental health through the lens of the 1950s. As of August 2021, Oakdale, 1959 has been accepted into multiple film festivals & won a number of awards. It’s festival run continues!
