A woman's dark secret is revealed on her small family farm.

Shot in 2015 on Neil Brookshire’s family’s former farm in Wisconsin, La Brouette is an homage to the 1962 French science fiction featurette La Jetée, directed by Chris Marker. It’s a short film comprised exclusively of still frames, sound design, and music.

In the middle of Covid-19 lockdown in 2021, Josh spend a weekend cutting the film together. As of August 2021, it’s been accepted into several film festivals and won an award.
